Hardrock MMA 86 returns with three professional fights set

Hardrock MMA kicks off 2017 in Shepherdsville on February 4th and the professional side of the card is locked in with three big fights that include the return of Louisville’s Lance Lawrence.

Lawrence (2-0) made his professional debut a year ago with a win over Brian Kerr before heading to Tennessee to face a then undefeated Jonathan Pearce at Valor Fights 35. The fight with Pearce lasted only 24 seconds as Lance was able to get the submission. Lawrence welcomes Indiana’s David Bernas (4-1) to Kentucky. Bernas has been exciting with none of his professional fights leaving the first round. His last outing was a first round submission last January over Brandon Davis.

AFS Academy’s Ruben Warr (5-8) will look to secure back to back wins against Adversity Training Center’s front man Ian Lawler (3-2). Lawler’s lone appearance in 2016 resulted in a win at Valor Fights 32 over Chad Perrine. Warr defeated Charlie Stanford at Hardrock MMA 84 back in October.

Donnie Ballou (1-0) will return to the Hardrock MMA cage to welcome Dylan Osterman (0-0) to the professional ranks. Both fighters had a stellar 2016. Osterman has won four in a row leading up to this fight with three wins last year. He capped off his amateur status with a first round submission over Donny Korbel in Bowling Green. Donnie Ballou has been fierce with both of his last two fights ending in under a minute.

Hardrock MMA 86 takes place at the Paroquet Springs Conference Center on February 4th. Stay close to BluegrassMMA for more on the amateur card. Tickets are available at HardrockMMA.com.
