Lineup set for Warrior FC ‘Knuckle Up or Shut Up’

Jimbo Collins and his Warrior FC crew heads to Knott County this weekend to kick off the year. Warrior put together a very strong 2016 campaign and the schedule is looking good for the new year already. One pro fight and a pair of amateur title fights anchor the event.

Nick Baker (3-0) will return to the Warrior Cage to meet Ken Beverly in the headliner. Baker has been impressive as a professional so far. He finished Brian Kerr in under a minute in his last outing. He will meet the local favorite Ken Beverly (3-2) This will be Ken’s first fight since losing a decision to Adli Edwards in October.

The middleweight title is on the line when a pair of undefeated fighters square off. Travis Pennington (3-0) will meet Jared Short (4-0) Saturday night and the old cliche stands, someone’s 0 has to go. Pennington returned from a four year hiatus to defeat Jaron Singley in impressive fashion in the Warrior FC cage this past November. Short comes in as the reigning champion after besting Timothy Engle. The pair combined have six wins by finish. .

Super heavyweights are always exciting for the fans and the title is on the line when Randall Ross meets Brandon Folen.
