Lineup set for Valor Fights 41 on FloCombat with Dylan Cala vs. Chris Wright Jr. headliner

Valor Fights 41 goes down in Elizabethton, Tennessee this weekend, and the fight card features a whopping 21 bouts. A total of nine of pro bouts are on tap, including a headliner featuring fast-rising bantamweight Dylan Cala (4-1) taking on veteran Chris Wright Jr. (8-6-1).

Cala makes his Valor debut as one of the hottest bantamweight prospects in the sport, and it’s easy to see why the North Carolinian has so much hype surrounding him. The 24-year-old has earned stoppages in his first four wins as a pro. In his last outing, he submitted Kongo Bakatukanda via rear naked choke in the second round at USFFC 29.

Wright represents Roufusport and makes the trek from Milwaukee for his first bout since 2015. He looks to snap out of a three-fight losing streak, as he came up short against Jonathan Pearce at Valor Fights 26 in his last outing.

In the co-feature, Damir Ferhatbegovic (3-0) looks to remain unbeatean as a pro, as he welcomes Luis Pena (2-0) to the Valor cage for the first time. Ferhatbegovich has stopped his last two opponents in the first round, including a submission over Charlie Alexander at Valor Fights 38 last November. Pena comes in from Missouri and is looking to build off of a win under the Shamrock FC banner from December.

The event also features a deep amateur card, including four title fights and several UMMAF National Qualifiers. Bubba Cruz (4-1), Billy Swanson (5-1), Jakob Clemens (3-1), and Thomas Wooley (4-1) will all defend their Valor titles, but there’s also a bigger picture on the line as each bout will serve as a UMMA National Qualifier Final.
