So yeah, March is going to be a pretty big month around the Ohio Valley. In addition to a host of great fights already announced for the month, one of the most exciting fighters in the area will be in action, as Nate “The Train” Landwehr (6-2) is set to take on UFC veteran Diego Saraiva (21-16-1) in the main event at A&A Promotions: A Night of Explosions on March 12 in Clarksville, Tennessee.

Landwehr will be competing in his hometown for the first time since last year. Most recently, he had a four fight winning streak snapped when he was submitted by Mark Cherico in the second round of the main event at Gladiators of the Cage 19 in October. Prior to that, the XFC veteran had earned victories over Anthony Jones, Justin Steave, Adam Townsend, and Keith Richardson.

Landwehr is currently ranked as the No. 2 featherweight in the BluegrassMMA Rankings.

The Georgia resident Saraiva competed three times in the UFC in 2007, but the jiu-jitsu black belt is just 3-8 over his last 11 bouts. Most recently, he lost a unanimous decision to Jordan Rinaldi at NFC 75 last June.

The A&A Promotions event on March 12 also features an intriguing bantamweight bout, as undefeated fighters Adam Fritz (3-0) and Ronnie Lawrence (1-0) square off.

A Night of Explosions takes place on March 12 at the Foy Fitness and Recreation Center on the campus of Austin Peay State University. Stay tuned to BluegrassMMA for more information as it becomes available.
