Looking to rebound from his first loss inside the Octagon, Josh Stansbury (8-3, 1-1 UFC) is set to return to the UFC in June.

The Ohio native will face Jeremy Kimball (14-6, 0-1 UFC) in a light heavyweight bout at UFC Fight Night 112 on June 25 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

“The Sandman” competed on The Ultimate Fighter 23, where he was a semifinalist as part of Joanna Jedrzejczyk’s team. He made his official debut at the show’s finale, topping castmate Cory Hendricks via majority decision last July. He came up short in his sophomore UFC outing, however, losing a unanimous decision to Devin Clark at the TUF 24 Finale in December. The loss snapped an eight-fight winning streak for Stansbury, and was his first defeat since he started his career 0-2 in 2009.

The Colorado native Kimball made his UFC debut in January on the strength of a four-fight winning streak, but he came up short in a TKO loss against Marcos Rogerio de Lima.

UFC Fight Night 112 will be headlined by a featherweight bout featuring UFC Hall of Famer B.J. Penn taking on Dennis Siver. The co-feature pits former welterweight champion Johny Hendricks against Tim Boetsch. The main card will air live on Fox Sports 1, but it’s not currently known where Stansbury’s bout will land on the fight card.
