Results – V3Fights: Mitchell vs. Ware

Memphis, Tenessee – V3Fights returns to Minglewood Hall in Memphis, Tennessee, tonight featuring a main event title fight between Issac Ware (4-1) and the defeated Bryce “Thug Nasty” Mitchell (7-0).

The 22-year-old Mitchell is coming off a second-round submission win over American Top Team OKC’s Brandon Phillips at WSOF 33. This was the first time in his young professional career that he was taken outside of the opening round. He finished his previous six bouts by way of submission in the first round.

Ware is coming into this fight with a three-fight winning streak. The Inspire Fitness & MMA fighter submitted his last opponent in the first round and is now ready for the biggest test of his professional career.

On the amateur side of the card, we will see heavyweight champion Dakota McFerson take on Thomas Clingan. After losing his original opponent due to illness, Scott Stober, Clingan decided to step up to the challenge. However, the opponent change made this a non-title fight. “It’s not for the belt, but yea, the other opponent had to drop the fight because he got sick,” McFerson posted on Facebook.
