King of the Cage: Harms Way

King of the Cage is set to return to The Meadows Racetrack & Casino in Washington, Pennsylvania for the third time this year, as “Harms Way” is set to go down on Saturday night.

The card features just seven bouts, but five of them will take place in the pro ranks.

In the headliner, Uniontown, Pennsylvania native Nick Browne (6-0) looks to remain unbeaten, as he takes on Troy Lamson (6-1) in a lightweight bout. Browne, who is currently ranked as the No. 1 lightweight in the BluegrassMMA Rankings, competes for the first time since picking up a win over R’Mandel Cameron at Pinnacle FC 12 last November. Browne has earned four of his wins via stoppage, including two via knockout and two via submission. Most notably, he earned a knockout over Sidney Outlaw at World Series of Fighting 13 in just 25 seconds just over two years ago.

Lamson, who hails from Michigan, looks to rebound from his first career loss in his last outing after starting his career off 6-0 with six stoppages.

The co-main event will feature the return of Jason Butcher (8-2). A seven-time Bellator veteran, he competes for the first time since being submitted by Tamdan McCrory at Bellator 135 in February 2015. The West Virginia native posted a 5-2 record under the Bellator MMA banner. He’ll take on Chicago area fighter Robert Morrow (24-21-1).

Other notable bouts feature heavyweights Nathan Bryant (5-5) vs. Bradley Schott (1-1), and bantamweights Timothy Sosa (5-3) vs. Tony Gravely (7-2). Check out the full card below.
