Donald Cerrone vs. Tim Means headlines UFC Pittsburgh

Fan favorite fighter Donald Cerrone (28-7, 15-4 UFC) is headed to the Steel City,  as “Cowboy” will move to welterweight to face Tim Means (25-7-1, 7-4 UFC) in the main event at UFC Pittsburgh in February.

Cerrone will return to action just over two months after suffering a quick TKO defeat to lightweight champion Rafael Dos Anjos in a title bout in December.

The Jackson-Wink MMA fighter is a fan favorite for his go-for-broke fighting style, and he used that style to quickly climb the lightweight ladder with wins over fighters like Jim Miller, Eddie Alvarez and Benson Henderson during an eight-fight winning streak.

Means is coming off of a second round knockout of John Howard at UFC Fight 80 in December. Prior to that, “Dirty Bird” had a five-fight winning streak snapped in a loss to Matt Brown at UFC 189.

UFC Fight Night 82 takes place Feb. 21 at the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, PA. The main card airs live on Fox Sports 1.

The fight card now features a dozen bouts:
