Just over a month out from action, the main event is now set for RFO: Big Guns 17 – The Exorcism, and it will feature at least one name that is familiar to longtime RFO fans.

Cody “The Wolverine” Stevens (12-8-1) will make his sixth appearance for RFO as a pro, as he is set to take on Terrell Hobbs (9-8) in a featherweight bout in the event’s headliner.

Stevens, who hails from Mansfield, will compete in his hometown promotion for the first time since 2013, when he earned a unanimous decision over UFC veteran Dustin Neace at Big Guns 12. Stevens is 5-0 as a pro under the RFO banner, with notable wins over Anthony Durnell and Adam Ward. Most recently, he snapped out of a three-fight losing streak when he earned a unanimous decision over Jeremy Czarnecki at NAAFS: Caged Fury 21 in January.

Hobbs, who hails from Virginia, will be looking to snap out of a three-fight slump when he comes into enemy territory against Stevens. A two-time Bellator veteran, he has also competed multiple times under the CFFC banner and a host of other Eastern based promotions. An aggressive fighter, the current XFE featherweight champion has earned five of his victories via submission and two via knockout.

The Stevens vs. Hobbs bout is the fourth pro fight added to Big Guns 17, as we reported earlier this week that the event will also feature lightweights John Gunther (1-0) vs. Chris Tucker (1-2), featherweights RJ Buck (1-1) vs. Mike Williams (2-4), and bantamweights Josh Longood (2-0) vs. Kendale Young (1-0).

RFO: Big Guns 17 – The Exorcism takes place on October 17 at the Richland County Faigrounds in Mansfield, Ohio.
