Live MMA action returns to Brookfield, Ohio this weekend, as Yankee Lake Brawlroom 43 takes place at the Yankee Lake Ballroom in Eastern Ohio.
A total of 16 bouts are set for the amateur MMA event, including a mix of veteran fighters and newcomers alike.
Travis Layton (2-0) looks to remain unbeaten as he faces Tyler Collins (2-1) in a lightweight bout. The West Virginia native picked up a pair of wins under the Gladiators of the Cage banner in 2015, including a guillotine win in just 18 seconds in his last outing at GOTC 19 in October. Collins is looking to bounce back from a loss at the hands of Damonte Robinson in his last outing at St. Lucy’s Fight Night 7 last May.
Also in action will be Pennsylvania native Desmond Carroll (4-2), as he returns to action for the first time since 2013 when he faces Daniel Albright (1-0). Carroll dropped a bout to Kyle Dunmeyer at a GOTC event in his last outing. Albright stopped Sean Dinan with TKO in the second round in his debut at St. Lucy’s Fight Night 8 last November.
