Caged Thunder 5 is set to be the promotion’s debut pro/am event, going down on Thanksgiving Eve at the American Legion in Kent, Ohio.
Pelton was originally slated to take on Damonte Robinson, but Robinson had to have emergency surgery according to Scott Corbin and was forced out of the bout.
A member of Strong Style Fight Team, Pelton has a pair of submissions and a TKO win to his credit. He comes in looking to rebound from a loss against Nick Browne at Pinnacle FC 17 in his last outing. He’s ranked as the No. 7 pro lightweight in Ohio by Tapology.
Miller has reeled off three straight finishes since turning pro late last year, including a knockout over James Sanchez in his last outing at Iron Tiger 83 in July. He also has a submission over Keith Speed and a TKO victory over Zack Davis. He’s ranked as the No. 8 pro lightweight in Ohio.
The night’s co-main event features Chad Kelly (2-3) vs. Letay Allen (1-2) in a matchup of heavy-hitters. Kelly also trains out of Strong Style and has both of his wins as a pro via TKO. Allen earned his pro debut win via knockout in just 15 seconds, but has since suffered setbacks in his two most recent bouts.
Caged Thunder 5 takes place on Nov. 21. Check out the full lineup below.
