Hardrock MMA still has one event left in 2018, but the promotion is already busy putting together its first card of 2019, as Hardrock MMA 105 will be headlined by a bout pitting Lance Lawrence (4-0) and Chris Dunn (14-9).
The event takes place on Feb. 2 at the Paroquet Springs Conference Center in Shepherdsville, Kentucky.
Louisvlle’s Lawrence has yet to taste defeat in his MMA career, with an 8-0 amateur record before his current 4-0 pro mark. “The Tornado” has finished all four of his pro bouts in the first round, including his most recent victory over Marc McDonald at Hardrock MMA 92 last year. He’s ranked as the No. 5 pro featherweight in Kentucky according to Tapology.
Dunn will compete for the first time in nearly two years, as his last outing was a submission loss against Will Shutt at Ascendancy Fighting Championship 13 in March 2017. Dunn started his MMA career in Ohio before moving to Iowa a few years ago.
“Kid Dynamite” has been active since making his amateur debut in 2010, with 39 total fights. This will be his first time competing under the Hardrock banner since 2015, when he topped B.J. Ferguson via TKO in the main event at Hardrock MMA 73. Dunn is ranked as the No. 7 pro bantamweight in Iowa.
Hardrock MMA closes out its 2018 campaign with Hardrock MMA 104 in Elizabethtown next week.
