Khama Worthy (11-6) will get his second chance to headline a Pinnacle FC card, as “The Death Star” will face Bellator veteran Tim Cho (6-3) in the main event at Pinnacle FC 18 on Dec. 22 in Pittsburgh.
Worthy has an 8-1 record under the Pinnacle FC banner, including a decision over Michael Roberts at Pinnacle FC 16. His most recent outing was a TKO over Brady Hovermale at Rivers Rumble MMA in July. He’s ranked as the No. 5 pro lightweight in Pennsylvania by Tapology.
Cho comes in from Chicago as he represents Pat Curran’s Curran MMA. He’s a one-time Bellator veteran, as he stopped Joshua Hardwick via TKO at Bellator 175 last year. Four of his six wins have come via stoppage, including two submissions and two TKOs.
Davis started off his pro career with four straight first round submissions in 2016, before suffering his first career setback against Sid Wheeler. He rebounded with wins over Alan Stewart and Jesse Murray before coming up short against UFC veteran Dom Steele in his last outing in June. He’s ranked as the No. 2 pro middleweight in Ohio by Tapology.
Fremd will be the hometown fighter, looking to pick up his second straight win in the bout. He picked up wins in his first two pro outings, including a submission over Ryan Parker at Bellator 186 last November. He suffered his lone setback against Robert Gidron at Pinnacle FC 16 in March. He’s ranked as the No. 5 pro middleweight in Pennsylvania.
Pinnacle FC 18 takes place at the West View Banquet Hall in Pittsburgh, and tickets are on sale now but are extremely limited. You can purchase tickets at pinnaclefcmma.com.
