Hardrock MMA 103 lineup set with two professional title fights

Hardrock MMA 103 goes down tomorrow night at Heritage Hall in Lexington with four big title fights including a pair of professional championships on the line.

The brothers Beverly will be looking for Hardrock MMA gold. Ken Beverly will challenge Ruben Warr in the main event for the professional featherweight title. Beverly has won back to back main events in the Hardrock MMA cage and this will be a big test for him against the highly skilled Warr. Ken’s brother Stone will meet Brandon Wren earlier in the night for the vacant amateur bantamweight title. Wren has been hot lately and Stone has been one of the best in the weight class since turning 18.

Que Parks and Cameron VanCamp will run it back for the welterweight title. VanCamp defeated Parks in Lexington to win his championship. Que has won two fights in a row against top competitors. Both have been standouts in the Hardrock MMA cage.

The third professional fight will pit two very exciting fighters against each other. Ian Lawler will face Ryan McIntosh to round out the professional side of things. The pair have stayed active and are always entertaining.

The vacant amateur heavyweight title will be up for grabs when Reaction MMA’s Daniel Hunt puts his undefeated record on the line and moves up in weight to meet Charles Philpot, a promotional newcomer.

The card is heavy in talent with matchmaker Brandon Higdon putting in some of his best work for Lexington. He tell us that he is excited and that this card will have its share of tough decisions. Looking at some of these fights it’s hard to even make a prediction.

I think this card has more potential fight of the night candidates than any other card I’ve ever put together. It’s going to shake up the rankings too.

Hardrock MMA 103’s doors will open at 6 p.m. with the first fight at 7:30. Tickets are available at HardrockMMA.com. Weigh-ins will take place tonight at Man O’ War Harley Davidson.
