Tomorrow night’s Colosseum Combat show has a new main event. Mark Slater and company will return to the friendly confines of the Kokomo Events and Conference Center with a new headliner as Casey Jones and Lloyd Thornton take top billing.
The original main event was scheduled to be Terry House and Tyler Combs but Slater said that fight had to be scrapped due to some unfortunate circumstances. Now Casey Jones(1-2) and Lloyd Thornton (4-9) are holding it down. Jones is coming off a first round knockout of Ryan Bettingham last year at Colosseum Combat XL. Jones was a standout prospect as an amateur with a 6-2 record.
Lloyd Thornton had an extensive amateur career as well going 10-3 before turning pro back in 2014. He jumped out of the gate with two big wins. His last win was a first round stoppage over Cody Gabelman back in August of 2017. He was last in action earlier this year against Donnie Ballou in Kokomo and was submitted in the first round.
Colosseum Combat XLVI takes place tomorrow night at the Kokomo Events and Conference Center. Four professional fights anchor the card. Tickets will be available at the door or you can purchase online here.
