Honor Fighting Championship 6 is set to go down this weekend at Jacobs Pavilion in Downtown Cleveland, and 16 total bouts are set for the event.
Five of those will be pro bouts, including a main event where Aleksa Camur (3-0) takes on Marvin Skipper (3-1) at 205 pounds.
Strong Style Fight Team’s Camur comes in unbeaten, including a victory over Allen Bose in the main event at Honor FC 3 in March. The 22 year old has produced all of his wins via knockout or TKO, dating back to his amateur career. He has yet to taste defeat and comes in ranked as the No. 3 pro light heavyweight in Ohio by Tapology.
Skipper comes in from South Carolina, looking to rebound from the first loss of his career in his last outing. After a 10-0 amateur career, the jiu-jitsu brown belt reeled off submission wins in each of his first three pro bouts. He then lost against Tebaris Gordon at Warfare MMA 17 in December, and Gordon has since gone on to sign to fight on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series. Skipper is ranked as the No. 4 pro heavyweight in South Carolina.
In the co-main event, Cody Stevens (14-10-1) will take on Aaron Mitchell (3-1-1) in a featherweight bout.
The Ohio native Stevens makes his Honor FC debut, as he competed extensively for the RFO promotion in the past. A member of Strong Style Fight Team, he will fight for the first time since losing via submission against Jordan Griffin at RFO: Big Guns 25 last September. Prior to that loss, he had picked up back-to-back wins over Charles Bennett and Anthony Morrison. The 35-year-old has produced six wins via submission dating to his pro debut in 2008. He’s ranked as the No. 3 pro featherweight in Ohio by Tapology.
A native of Iowa, Mitchell made his pro debut in 2017 after an extensive amateur career where he posted a record of 18-6. He competed five times in his first year as a pro, picking up three wins via stoppage. His last outing was in November, when he fought to a draw against Damonte Robinson at Bayfront Brawl IV in Pennsylvania.
Other pro bouts set for Honor FC 6 include Logan Urban (1-0) vs. Zack Davis (0-1) at welterweight, AJ Dobson (3-0) vs. Wesley Golden (6-9) also at welterweight, and amateur super heavyweight champion Nick Brashear (0-0) making his pro debut against Kaleb Raymond (1-0).
Three amateur titles will also be on the line: Yohe Rojas (7-0) vs. Alex Johnston (6-2) at featherweight, Timothy Hughes (3-1) vs. William Ferguson (5-2) at lightweight, and Lucas Mast (3-1) vs. Braden Liggett (4-0) at welterweight.
The event streams live via Fite TV for $14.99. Check out the full lineup below.
