Colosseum Combat XLV lineup set with 2 title fights

The stage is set for Mark Slater and Colosseum Combat’s return to Kokomo this weekend. This show will mark the 45th in the series and the night is being headlined by the heavyweight championship as Johnathan Ivey will defend his belt against Travis Fulton.

Ivey and Fulton have fought in over 400 bouts combined and this will be Ivey’s first defense of his title after winning it last year. The resume of each is a who’s who in MMA legacy. Slater says this is a historical bout and he’s true. This type of fight will probably never be duplicated.

The co-main event features Sean Fallon ,as he returns to the Colosseum Combat cage, against Zach Edington. Fallon has won three in a row as Edington has won his last two. It is a solid compliment to the heavyweights in the main event.

An amateur title fight is on tap as Ian Suttles meets Steven Jenkins for the amateur heavyweight championship. Suttles won his first five fights before losing in March of this year. Jenkins has won back to back fights but this will be his first cage appearance in over a year.
