Fadi Shuman will make his highly anticipated pro debut next month when he faces Keith Froelich at Pinnacle FC 17 on June 9.

Shuman posted a 6-3 amateur record, including claiming the featherweight title with a victory over Aaron Johnston at Pinnacle FC 16 in March. That was the first fight for Shuman since 2016, when he earned a submission win over Sean White. The Mat Factory product made his amateur debut in 2012, winning the NAAFS lightweight title that same year by defeating Nick Browne.

Hailing from Cincinnati, Froelich will also make his pro debut after a 4-1 amateur record. After losing his amateur debut in 2012, the Sacan Martial Arts and Gracie Cincinnati product returned to action in 2016, reeling off four straight wins, including three via first round TKO. He closed out his amateur career with a decision win over J’Mar Moore at IT Fight Series 78 in December.

Pinnacle FC 17 already featured two pro title fights, with Nick Browne defending his lightweight title against Jeff Pelton and John De Jesus and Ruben Warr squaring off for the vacant featherweight crown.

The event takes place at Printscape Arena and streams live via FloCombat.
