Results – Bayfront Brawl V

Bizzarro Promotions returned to Erie, Pennsylvania this past weekend, as Bayfront Brawl V was headlined by a pair of professional title bouts, including Branden Seyler (8-6-1) submitting Antonio Castillo Jr. (10-8) to claim the featherweight title, and Jeff Pelton (5-1) topping Matt DiMarcantonio (10-8) for the lightweight title.

The Erie native Seyler won the Bayfront Brawl title in his second attempt, moving his record to 2-1 for the promotion. He had lost three of four fights heading into the matchup against Castillo.

For Castillo, he has now lost four of his last five bouts with a win over Frank Caraballo sandwiched in.

Strong Style’s Pelton picked up his first title as a pro, topping DiMarcantonio via decision for his second straight win. The Canadian DiMarcantonio is now just 2-3 in his last five.

Other pro winners were Logan Urban (1-0), who topped Brandon Odom (0-4) to take home a win in his pro debut, and Erie’s Jeremiah Yeager (4-8), who took home his second win in a row with a submission over Andrew Huffman (7-9).
