Tim Loy and Valor Fights return to Nashville with a new main event and a blended card for the fans. The original headliner of Lindsey “Sweet Tea” Jones and Robert Hale has been scrapped due to an injury to Hale on his way to Nashville. A lightweight scrap between Lathon Lawson (0-1) and Charlie “C4” Alexander (1-1) has been promoted to top billing.
Nashville MMA’s Alexander is coming off a decision win last February. The lightweight has a solid resume in the Valor Fights cage and made his MMA debut way back in 2009. Lawson is looking to notch his first professional win coming in as the outsider. Lawson trains at American Top Team in Macon, GA.
A highly watched women’s bout holds down the co-main event spot as Chel-C Bailey (2-0) will meet Kelly D’Angelo (2-1). D’Angelo is an Invicta FC veteran and Bailey tried her hand at The Ultimate Fighter. This is a solid bout in the female strawweight division. Shannon Gougary (1-0) will meet Emily Gettys (0-1) in the strawweight division as well.
Somerset,KY’s Ian Lawler(4-3) will meet Nashville’s Cromwell Stewart (2-1-1) in the professional lightweight division. Lawler has won two of his last three fights as Stewart has split his last two outings.
This card also features professional grappling, amateur MMA ,amateur grappling as well as amateur Muay Thai. The event goes down at the Nashville Fairground Arena on Saturday March 31st and you can catch all the action live on FloCombat.
