Results – Hoosier Fight Club 36: Hufnagle vs. Robinson

Hoosier Fight Club returned to the Blue Chip Casino in Michigan City, Indiana for their first event of the year, HFC 36: Tyler Hufnagle vs. Michael Robinson.

The evening came to a close when Tyler Hufnagle (5-1) submitted Michael Robinson (2-3-1) in the second round.

After being rocked in the first round, Tyler Hufnagle (5-1) scrapped his game plan and took Michael Robinson (2-3-1) to the ground. Hufnagle nearly had the fight won in the first round, but Robinson was saved by the bell. With the opening round coming to a close, Hufnagle had Robinson deep in the choke.

As the bell sounded, and before Hufnagle could release the submission attempt, Robinson tapped out. The “Spider Monkey” was seconds away from the first round finish. It didn’t take long for Hufnagle to find his groove in the second round. In just under two minutes into the second, Hufnagle was able to get the referee stoppage.

In the co-main event, Joshua Streacker (4-1) picked up the only knockout of the night after stopping Craig Fruth (5-4). It took just over one minute for Streacker to pull off the finish. The knockout is the third of his professional career. The victory capped off a special weekend for Streacker as he celebrated his birthday the day before.

On the amateur portion of the event, Julian Moore (4-1) became the promotion’s new middleweight champion. Moore picked up the split decision win over Devin Laseter (4-4).
