Hardrock MMA 96 is set to go down this evening at the Paroquet Springs Conference Center in Shepherdsville, Kentucky.

In the main event, B.J. Ferguson (11-5) will face Ruben Warr (8-8) for the promotion’s vacant pro featherweight title.

Ferguson steps back into the cage for the first time since 2015 when he lost via a TKO to Chris Dunn at Hardrock MMA 73. A competitor on Season 14 of The Ultimate Fighter, Ferguson is also a one-time Bellator MMA veteran. He holds a 5-1 record under the Hardrock banner, dating to a knockout win over Jeremy Pender at Hardrock MMA 18 in 2010.

Warr has been one of the hottest fighters under the Hardrock MMA banner, as the AFS/10th Planet Richmond product has posted four straight wins for the promotion. That included decisions over Charlie Stanford and Ian Lawler, and submissions over Braedon Ward and Jacob Kilburn. He’s ranked as the No. 3 pro lightweight in Kentucky by Tapology. Warr is 6-1 since transitioning to AFS in 2016.

A combined 15-0, Jacob Dorman (6-0) and Kellen VanCamp (9-0) will put their undefeated status on the line in the night’s co-main event.

Dorman will be the challenger. At 6-0 he’s proven to be the top contender for the title. His resume boasts of four stoppages, two by submission and two by TKO. The 32-year-old started his career back in 2014 and had a banner year in 2017 with three wins. He bested Matt Moore at Hardrock MMA 95 with a second-round submission. He’s ranked as the No. 4 amateur featherweight in Kentucky.

VanCamp will be defending his title for the first time in the very place he won it a year ago. He defeated Clay Baker with a second-round knockout in Shepherdsville at Hardrock MMA 86. The Indiana native won three fights in 2017 in three states. He closed the year out by going up a weight class to capture the Colosseum Combat lightweight title in December. He’s ranked as the No. 1 amateur featherweight in both Kentucky and Indiana.
