Two pro bouts have been added to next month’s Honor Fighting Championship 3 card, which takes place on March 31st in Akron, Ohio.
Schottenheimer represents Victory MMA in Akron and comes in looking to snap a two-fight losing streak. After starting his career 3-1, he suffered a TKO loss against Kenny Locsei followed by a knockout loss against Michael Jackson in California last year. He’ll come up in weight for this bout, as he’s ranked as the No. 14 pro featherweight in Ohio by Tapology.
Murray comes in from Pennsylvania looking for his second straight win. “The Dream” fights out of Philadelphia and picked up a TKO victory over Timothy Tyler in his last outing in December.
Now representing Strong Style Fight Team, Kelly comes in looking for his third straight win. After starting his career 0-2, he reeled off back-to-back TKO wins in his last two outings. Most recently, he finished Tony Dipiero in the second round at IT Fight Series 78 in December. He’s ranked as the No. 12 pro middleweight in Ohio.
Jeffery fights out of Ontario but is no stranger to competing in Ohio. He picked up wins in his first two pro bouts in the Buckeye State, and also competed in the state seven times as an amateur. He’ll compete for the first time in more than two years, as his last outing was a TKO victory at a King of the Cage event in Niagara Falls in March 2016.
These two pro bouts join three amateur title bouts that were first reported by BluegrassMMA last week on the Honor FC 3 card. Check out the current lineup below.
