Valor Fights closed out its 2017 schedule on Saturday night in Gray, Tennessee, as Strikefest 2 featured 11 bouts.
In the night’s main event, Nate Williams (7-3) took home his third straight first round submission win, as he locked in an anaconda choke to force Steven New (5-3) to tap just 1:25 in.
The co-main event featured bad blood, but it was Jonathan Pearce (7-3) who came away victorious with a TKO win over Nick Baker (4-3). After a three-fight skid earlier in his career, Pearce has now won three in a row, including two under the Bellator MMA Fight Series banner earlier this year.
The third pro bout saw heavyweight Phillip McGlothlin (2-1) picking up his second win with a decision victory over Mike Thomas (0-1-1).
