Damonte Robinson (4-1-1) and Aaron Mitchell (3-1-1) fought to a draw in the main event at Bizzaro Promotions’ Bayfront Brawl IV event on Thanksgiving Eve, and neither was able to take home the pro lightweight title that was on the line.
Robinson is now winless in his last two outings after starting off his career 4-0, as he was submitted by Devonte Smith in his previous outing earlier this year.
Hope Chase (3-0) claimed the promotion’s amateur bantamweight title, as she closed out the first year of her career with an unblemished record and three wins. Chase topped Liz Lewis (5-2), who had her three-fight winning streak halted with the loss.
In the other amateur title bout, Samuel Lemin (6-5) continued to roll, as he submitted hometown favorite Edwin Taylor (6-4) via arm bar to claim the promotion’s middleweight title. Lemin has now won three straight bouts via submission after taking a hiatus of more than three years from the sport.
