Valor Fights 45 went down in Chattanooga, Tennessee on Saturday night, and the event featured 14 MMA bouts as well as Muay Thai action.
In the main event, former Valor middleweight champion Sid Wheeler (7-2) completed his comeback after a nasty motorcycle accident earlier this year, as he topped Robert Hale (1-2) via unanimous decision in a 175-pound catchweight bout. Wheeler has now won two in a row after a two-fight losing streak.
In the co-main event, Chandler Cole (3-1) earned a heavyweight title shot with a second round rear naked choke submission of Dustin Dyer (1-2). Cole successfully bounced back from the first loss of his career and will now get a crack at heavyweight champion Ben Rowland.
In other pro action, Cole Ferrell (4-0) advanced his unbeaten streak, needing just 22 seconds to submit Latral Perdue (1-14) with a guillotine choke.
