IT Fight Series 76

IT Fight Series 76 marks the promotion’s debut in Mentor, Ohio next month, as they head to the Heisley Sports Complex for a pro/am card.

A few bouts have been announced for the event, including an amateur flyweight title bout pitting Ben Willeford (4-0) and Brian Hauser (6-1).

A member of the Strong Style Fight Team, Willeford (#1 am FLW, OH) is a former Cleveland State wrestler who has been impressive thus far in his amateur career. All four of his wins have come in the first round, including three in a row via submission. Most recently, he submitted AJ Wilkins with a guillotine at IT Fight Series 72 in March.

Hauser (#3 am BW, OH) is also a former collegiate wrestler, as he spent time on the mats at Notre Dame College. The Evolve MMA product comes in looking to rebound from his first loss, as he moved up in weight to take on Chaka Worthy at IT Fight Series 75 earlier this month and came up short.

A pro fight has also been announced, as Donnie Ballou (2-0) and Robert Walker (5-4) will square off at flyweight.

Ballou (#5 pro FLW, KY) has picked up a pair of first round submission wins after turning pro last October. Walker (#8 pro BW, OH) will return from a second layoff, as he broke a four-year absence last July to pick up a win over Joe Pegg at IT Fight Series.
