Justified Defiance Fight Series 7 is set to go down tonight at Huntington Park in Columbus, Ohio. It will be the first time that an MMA event has taken place at the 10,100-seat home of the Columbus Clippers minor league baseball team. The original main event between Isaac Steele and Portland Pringle has been cancelled due to injury.

In the new main event, Mike Mason (0-0) is set to make his pro debut against Chad Williams (0-2).

Mason closed out his amateur career with a 6-4 record after topping Matt Sieger at Warrior Nation Fight Series 46 in June. He’s ranked as the No. 8 amateur middleweight in Ohio by Tapology.

Williams comes in from Kansas City looking to pick up his first win as a pro, as he has lost his first two fights. He was impressive as an amateur, however, posing a 15-2 record.

Also making his pro debut will be Keith Speed (0-0), who faces Nathan Trepagnier (2-2) in the night’s other pro bout.

Speed posted a 6-3 amateur record, including winning the JDFS featherweight title with a knockout win over Andre Small in his last outing. Five of his six wins as an amateur came via (T)KO. He’s ranked as the No. 20 amateur featherweight in Ohio by Tapology.

Trepagnier comes in from Oklahoma looking for his third win as a pro. In his last outing, he lost to Travis Quintero in his LFA debut. Both of his wins have come via submission.

The amateur portion of the card will be anchored by a light heavyweight bout featuring Brad Orsbone (6-4) taking on Andre Williams (2-3).

The MMA card is the first of two nights of combat sports action at Huntington Park, as a pro boxing event will take place on Saturday night. Check out the fight card for JDFS 7 below.
