Justified Defiance Fight Series 7 is set to go down on July 28 at Huntington Park in Columbus, Ohio. It will be the first time that an MMA event has taken place at the 10,100-seat home of the Columbus Clippers minor league baseball team. The main event for the night is set, as Isaac Steele (6-1) will face Portland Pringle (10-7) in a welterweight battle.

The bout will be Steele’s second in six weeks, as he stopped Oliver Vadnais via TKO in the second round at IT Fight Series 73 earlier this month. The victory got Steele back on the winning track, as he successfully bounced back from the first loss of his career against UFC veteran Jonavin Webb at CFFC 60 last August.

Pringle will be looking to get back on the winning track, as he had a three-fight winning streak snapped by Chris Curtis in a bout at a Premier MMA Championship event last month. The Kentucky native has picked up stoppages in nine of his ten wins, including five submissions and four (T)KOs.

Also, Mike Mason (0-0) is set to make his pro debut against Chad Williams (0-2).

Mason closed out his amateur career with a 6-4 record after topping Matt Sieger at Warrior Nation Fight Series 46 just last weekend. Williams comes in from Kansas City looking to pick up his first win as a pro, as he has lost his first two fights. He was impressive as an amateur, however, posing a 15-2 record.
