The AFS Academy product has decided to ditch his signature mullet ahead of his main event bout against Jeremy Pender (13-12) this weekend in Florence, Kentucky.
After winning his first three pro bouts via decision, Fritz is currently riding a two-fight losing streak. He hopes to turn things around this weekend, however.
“New haircut, new win streak!,” Fritz said.
Fritz has yet another tough fight on his hands in the veteran Pender, and he’ll be venturing near Pender’s home turf just outside of Cincinnati. But he has been known to take on tough opponents, including Ronnie Lawrence and Michael Ricketts in his last two outings.
“I expect great things from this fight,” Fritz said. “He’s had a lot of experience but I’ve tapped him out once already. Saturday night is my time and I’ll have a great performance.”
Fritz and Pender headline Hardrock MMA 89 on Saturday night, which takes place at Turfway Park in Florence, Kentucky.
