2016 BluegrassMMA Pro Fighter of the Year: Devonte Smith
With more than 26% of the vote, the 2016 BluegrassMMA Pro Fighter of the Year is Devonte Smith. Eryk Anders came in second with 18.1%, and Travis Davis finished third with 14.1%. This was the third most popular category for fan voting.
If there was a category for most exciting fighter, Smith would be there too. Smith is a ball of talent and is explosive as they come. He was impressive in all three wins this year and got his highlight reel stocked with a big knockout back in June. The 23 year old is primed to make a big run in the new year as he starts things off for RFO facing John Gunther.
