Travis Davis (4-0) has an opponent for his upcoming main event at Justified Defiance Fight Series 4, as he’ll face Tristar MMA product Peter Grajcar (2-0) at the event.
Davis had a banner year in 2016, turning pro in March after winning his last amateur bout via omoplata in February.
He went on to compete a total of four times as a pro over the course of the year, winning each via submission in the first round. In his debut, he topped Ricco Ralston via submission due to strikes, and followed that up with a triangle choke against Travis Pettengill, a guillotine against Brian Booth, and a rear naked choke against Steven Bell.
Grajcar represents Firas Zahabi’s Tristar gym in Quebec and will compete outside of his native Canada for the first time. He made his pro debut in 2014 with a submission win, and choked Roman Dubinski earlier this year. He also has a victory over Yuki Suzuki from earlier this year that doesn’t appear on his official record.
Justified Defiance Fight Series 4 takes place on Jan. 7 at Express Live in Columbus, Ohio.
