Josh Stansbury (8-2) will look to move to 2-0 under the UFC banner, as the East Liverpool, Ohio native is set to return to the Octagon in December.
The “Sandman” will face Jake Collier (10-3) at The Ultimate Fighter 24 Finale on Dec. 3 at The Pearl at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas.
Stansbury was a semi-finalist on TUF 23 earlier this year and made his official UFC debut at the live finale with a win over Cory Hendricks. The former NAAFS champion has now won eight bouts in a row after starting off his pro career with two straight losses.
Collier is 2-2 in the UFC and moves up to light heavyweight after four fights at middleweight. His most recent outing was a TKO win over Alberto Uda at UFC Fight Night 88 in May.
The TUF 24 Finale will be headlined he a flyweight title bout, as champion Demetrious Johnson will defend his title against the winner of the TUF 24 “tournament of champions” featuring champions from regional promotions around the world.
