Colosseum Combat 36

Mark Slater is putting together his next event and several fights have already been announced. Colosseum Combat returns on August 27th to the Kokomo Event and Conference Center.

The co-main event will be for the vacant middleweight title as Tony Parker meets Keith Smetana. Parker. Parker (12-12) is coming off a win earlier this year at Absolute Action 45.  The Vision MMA fighter has won three of his last four fights.  Smetana (9-5)  has also won three of his last four. He submitted Devon Smith back in March.

The professional side of the card will host some familiar faces to the promotion. Rocky France returns to meet Tyler Combs. France hasn’t fought since 2013 but was a part of one of the best fight’s in promotion history when he met Ryan Thomas at Colosseum Combat 25. Tyler Combs defeated Daniel Head last year before losing to Andrew Holbrook in a title fight. This will serve as the main event on the evening.

Terry House will meet Michael Shields. House is looking to snap a four fight losing streak as Shields has lost back to back fights.

Here is a look at the card as it stands with plenty of room for growth and as always is subject to change.
