Pinnacle Fighting Championships is set to make its return to Pittsburgh in the spring, as Pinnacle FC 13 takes place on March 26th.

This will mark the organization’s second trip to the Syria Shriners Center in Cheswick, Pennsylvania, which is just outside the Steel City.

No fights were announced for the fight card as of yet, but matchmakers Dave Klick, Joe Demore and Rich Miller are reportedly in search of fighters at this point.

Pinnacle FC held three events in 2015, including a Pinnacle FC 12 event in November that was the runner-up for 2015 BluegrassMMA Event of the Year.

Pinnacle FC was also the runner-up for Promotion of the Year, and multiple other performances that happened under their banner were nominated for the 2015 BluegrassMMA Awards.

The organization has helped produce some of the best fighters in the area, including bantamweight champion Dominic Mazzotta, retired featherweight champion Mark Cherico, and lightweight champion Nick Browne. Current UFC bantamweight star Cody Garbrandt also held the organization’s bantamweight title before signing with the UFC last year.

Pinnacle promoters are also set to try their hand at boxing, as the first Pinnacle Boxing Championships event has been announced for Feb. 26 in Pittsburgh. A bout between a pair of fighters with MMA experience will take place, as Gregg Rudolph takes on John Jaquay in the first bout announced for that event.
