Turf Wars cancels once again
Kentucky’s Turf Wars has once again cancelled an event. This making it back to back events and multiple times in 2015. Todd Neal of the Kentucky Boxing and Wrestling Authority broke the news and then went on to explain that the venue had double booked for the weekend, leaving the promotion without a home.
A variety of problems has plagued the once flourishing promotion. Lack of fights, venue problems and a general sense of organization have been issues all of this year.
As 2015 closes it will take a strong rebuilding effort to bring Turf Wars back into relevance. It is a sad thing to see a promotion that once offered great quality fights fall off in the fashion that they have.
