Middleweight Luke Zachrich (14-4) has been released from the UFC, according to multiple reports.

Zachrich, who resides in Columbus, Ohio, competed three times in the Octagon, compiling a 1-2 record, including a unanimous decision win over Guilherme Vasconcelos at UFC 175 last summer.

The 34 year old has plenty to keep him busy outside of the UFC, though, as the Ronin Training Center gym that he owns in Columbus recently moved to a new location and underwent a massive expansion, and Zachrich also owns three Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers franchises around the capital city.

Zachrich also competed on “The Ultimate Fighter 7” and was a contestant in the Bellator Season 2 Middleweight Tournament.

The cut comes amid a massive roster trimming from the UFC, as 22 fighters were removed from the official roster yesterday and multiple others have confirmed their release. Among the other cuts was Amir Sadollah, who actually won the TUF 7 season that Zachrich competed on.
