Midwest Fight Series 14 took place at the Hooiser Park Racing Casino in Anderson, Indiana over the weekend, and the 13-bout pro/am card featured just two decisions in front of a sold out crowd of more than 1200 fans.
In the night’s main event, pro lightweight Bryant Whitaker (8-2) picked up his seventh straight win, as he topped Thomas Gifford (9-7) via unanimous decision.
In the co-feature, Austin Tweedy (8-1) continued his streak of finishing fighters, as he forced UFC veteran Jason Gilliam (13-9) to tap via rear naked choke in just 40 seconds.
At heavyweight, Alex Rozman (15-22) knocked out 54-year-old Joe Kielur (11-2) in just 34 seconds.
Other pro winners were David Bernas (4-1), Aaron Highbaugh (1-0), and TJ Pettigrew (2-1).
On the amateur side of things, Drew Eggleton (7-4) claimed the middleweight title with a second round TKO over Kyle Fletcher (4-1).
MFS returns to the same venue for MFS XV on March 19.
