IT Fight Series 41

IT Fight Series continues their expansion throughout Ohio, as IT Fight Series 41 marks the organization’s debut in Akron. The amateur event takes place on March 12 at Chapparells Community Center in the Rubber City.

The main event for the fight card is set, as a pair of rising lightweights will battle for the organization’s vacant 155-pound title.

Jake Miller (4-2) is set to take on Damonte Robinson (4-0) in the culmination of a four-man tournament for the title.

Grove City BJJ’s Miller comes in riding a four-fight winning streak after dropping the first two bouts of his career. After stopping Steffyn Parsons via TKO in the second round at IT Fight Series 37 in October, he earned a title shot by submitting former champion Treg Wells with a guillotine in the third round at IT Fight Series 38 in November.

Mayanz MMA’s Robinson went 4-0 in 2015 after making his debut in March. He earned a decision over Johnssy Santiago at IT Fight Series 37 before topping Sam Cooper via decision at IT Fight Series 39 in December to earn a title shot.

Much like IT Fight Series 40, this event is expected to be streamed live via GFL.tv.
