Throwback Thursday: Jeremie Elkins vs. Felix Catheline at OFC 19

Throwback Thursday Jeremie Elkins Felix Catheline

It was just about one year ago at Ohio Fighting Championship 19 when Jeremie Elkins and Felix Catheline stepped into the cage. They are featured on this weeks Throwback Thursday. These two big boys are favorites among the local fight fans and us here at BluegrassMMA.

Neither fighter wasted time getting things started. Felix Catheline comes in for a takedown but gets caught in a standing guillotine by Jeremie Elkins. Looking to get a better position, Elkins drops to his back to get the guillotine choke locked in deep. After just a few moments, Catheline was able to work his way out of the submission attempt and proceeded to land some shots.

After letting go, Elkins attempted to get back to his feet where he had a better chance of winning against the outstanding wrestler. As Elkins was standing up, Catheline was able to secure a guillotine choke of his own. Trying to escape, Elkins stood up but it only helped Catheline secure the choke. From here it was only a matter of time before Catheline earned the tapout.

The annual October event hosted by Ohio Fighting Championship goes down this weekend at the Northland Performing Arts Center. We are currently giving away two tickets to the show- enter now for your chance to win.
